2016 – The Dream Begins
Lake Time Boat Club (Lake Time Boats) was founded in 2016 with a vision: to make boating more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. What started as a simple idea—to eliminate the headaches of boat ownership—quickly evolved into a Members-only experience that lets families, friends, and professionals spend more time on the water and less time worrying about logistics.
2021 – Joining Forces
By 2021, the growing demand for stress-free boating was increasing. We decided to team up with Freedom Boat Club and became apart of their national franchise network giving Members boating access to over 400 locations. This milestone marked a turning point, enabling us to serve our Members with an elevated level of convenience and fun.
2024 – Expansion to Rentals
In 2024, we acquired Clear Lake Adventure Rentals (now operating as Lake Time Boats) to serve customers also wanting a daily rental experience. With the addition of Freedom Boat Club, we are able accomadate most of your lake needs. With a reputation for exceptional service and a commitment to creating unforgettable lake experiences, we look forward to welcoming even more families, friends, and professionals to the water for years to come.

Meet The Owner
Jake Kopriva grew up in the marina business, working alongside his dad at Bob's Marine, where he continues to play an active role today. His childhood on the lake fueled a passion for boating and helping others enjoy the same experience, which has been a driving force behind the growth of the business. In addition to his work with boat storage and hoists at Bob's Marine, Jake is deeply involved in the community.

As a cofounder of TRI Clear Lake with Carrie Tysdahl, he has helped establish one of the area’s premier events. Jake's love for Clear Lake and his desire to help others discover their dream homes here inspired him to earn his real estate license in 2021.

When he’s not working, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, their two young boys, and their dog, Crew. Whether it’s boating, volunteering, or connecting with others, Jake’s passion for Clear Lake shines in everything he does.
